Recovering Scotswomen’s History

Between the end of the eighteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, Scotswomen wrote hundreds of novels, poems, essays, and plays. Although they were popular in their own time, very few of these women’s names or works are known today. Scottish Women Writers on the Web aims to change that.
